Teensy boards
Overview
Teensy boards are powerful 32-bit microcontrollers boards, mostly based on ARM Cortex-Mx core.
The Teensy is a complete USB-based microcontroller development system, in a very small footprint, capable of implementing many types of projects. All programming is done via the USB port.

Programming
Programming a Teensy board can be realized from the Arduino IDE with the Teensyduino software add-on. See download & installation page.
Solution Lab: Teensyduino is already installed in the Arduino IDE environment. Select the Teensy board in the Tools
/Board
/Teensyduino
menu section.
Most programs written for Arduino work on Teensy. All of the standard Arduino functions (digitalWrite, pinMode, analogRead, etc) all work on Teensy. Teensyduino is also compatible with many Arduino libraries.

See the Teensy Loader Application page to understand and see how program will be uploaded to the Teensy board from the Arduino IDE.
Usage
Teensy boards are very powerful boards and can be used for a large variety to IoT applications requiring larger amount of memory and/or processing capabilities, including audio & image processing. The Teensy 3.6 has an embedded SD card slot making it easy to build data-logger devices.
Radio communication modules such as LoRa modules can be connected to Teensy boards through the SPI pins.
There are also some specific products made for Teensy boards.
