Hardware
Arduino boards
Overview Arduino is an open-source platform designed for artists, designers, hobbyists, hackers and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments. It consists of a circuit board, which can be programmed and a software called Arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment), which is used to write the computer code and upload this code to the physical board.
An Arduino board can interact with buttons, LEDs, motors, speakers, GPS units, cameras, the internet, and even your smartphone or your TV!
Hardware
WaziDev board
WaziDev WaziDev is a development board proposed by the EU H2020 WAZIHUB project which integrates the ATMega328P MCU with a serial conversion chip (CH340/341) and provides access to all pins of the MCU. It also proposes advanced features to ease integration on production-level IoT devices. It has an embedded LoRa module that allows the developers to simply develop IoT sensor nodes as well as IoT actuator nodes for their IoT applications.
Hardware
Teensy boards
Overview Teensy boards are powerful 32-bit microcontrollers boards, mostly based on ARM Cortex-Mx core.
The Teensy is a complete USB-based microcontroller development system, in a very small footprint, capable of implementing many types of projects. All programming is done via the USB port.

Listed boards Teensy 4.0 board (specs, PlatformIO) is powered by NXP/Freescale i.MX RT1060 MCU, which features a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M7 at 600 MHz Teensy 3.
Hardware
Adafruit Feather/ItsyBitsy boards
Overview Adafruit was founded in 2005 by MIT engineer, Limor “Ladyada” Fried. Her goal was to create the best place online for learning >electronics and making the best designed products for makers of all ages and skill levels.
Quoted from Adafruit website
Adafruit’s microcontroller boards are now spanning a wide range of features and Adafruit is well-known for their large number of high-quality tutorials on electronics, microcontrollers and IoT.
Hardware
ESP32 boards
Overview Another famous microcontroller branch is the ESP8286/ESP32 from Expressif. The ESP8266 is a low-cost Wi-Fi microchip, with built-in TCP/IP networking software, and microcontroller capability. The ESP32 is the successor of the ESP8286 and “employs either a Tensilica Xtensa LX6 microprocessor in both dual-core and single-core variations, Xtensa LX7 dual-core microprocessor or a single-core RISC-V microprocessor and includes built-in antenna switches, RF balun, power amplifier, low-noise receive amplifier, filters, and power-management modules”, quoted from wikipedia.
Hardware
Raspberry Pi
Overview Raspberry Pi (RPI) is a series of small single-board computers (SBCs). It is widely used in many areas, such as for weather monitoring, because of its low cost, modularity, and open design. It is typically used by computer and electronic hobbyists, due to its adoption of HDMI and USB devices. There are three series of Raspberry Pi, and several generations of each have been released. Raspberry Pi SBCs feature a Broadcom system on a chip (SoC) with an integrated ARM-compatible central processing unit (CPU) and on-chip graphics processing unit (GPU).
